Over half of the protein in Signature 100% Whey Protein Isolate is hydrolyzed. The peptides from hydrolyzed proteins are much easier for your body to digest than standard long-chain proteins or free amino acids. That means better absorption of these muscle-building aminos.
But amino acids that come in the form of a peptide — in other words, already broken down through the hydrolyzation process — bypass all that and can be absorbed intact. Once they’re absorbed, the body breaks them down further and releases a flood of amino acids. Research shows that hydrolyzed proteins are absorbed more efficiently than straight amino acids.
